JOAQUÍN JIMÉNEZ PUERTO

Joaquín Jiménez started his study of Aikido, aged 22, at the Aikido Club Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) with Ezequiel Matías sensei. During his early years of practice he frequently attended the seminars taught by Iwagaki Shigenori sensei, the technical director at the UPV dojo in those days. After passing his 1st dan exam (Spanish Federation  FEJYDA) and attaining the FEJYDA teaching qualification, he began teaching at UPV and the University of Valencia in 2003, under the guidance of Ezequiel Matías sensei.
In addition, he has also taught Aikido at the Ashihara Karate dojo and Wu-Shu Benicalap, and has been invited, since 2006, to teach at Bancaja Summer University.

He has attended regularly to Aikido seminars in and out of Spain and in 2005 he travelled to Athens to train with Janet Clift sensei and Eamonn Devlin sensei. After this visit and subsequent training seminars in Valencia they were invited to become technical directors at the Nishinkan dojo. In 2011 Joaquin Jimenez  was promoted by Janet Clift and Eamonn Devlin to nidan (Aikikai).
Jimenez sensei also holds shodan grade in Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido within the Fuji Kai organization directed by Tsuyoshi Sato sensei, Yamanashi (Japan). He trains weekly with Takeshi Sato sensei at Valencia.
At the moment Joaquin Jimenez sensei holds nidan Aikikai, FEJYDA 3rd dan, and shodan in Iaido. He teaches at the Club Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) and is the director of the Nishinkan Dojo.

 

BLANCA PÉREZ

Blanca Perez began Aikido training in 2000 at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia with Ezequiel Matías sensei. In 2004 she was awarded 1st Dan FEJYDA, and in 2005 the FEJYDA Aikido instructor diploma. In 2010 he was awarded 1st Dan Aikikai. Since 2006 she has trained with Joaquín Jiménez in the Ashihara Karate, Wu-shu dojos and at this moment at Nishinkan dojo, while also travelling regularly to seminars outside of Spain.
She is currently teaching and training at the Nishinkan dojo. 

 

ROBERTO BONILLA CAMPILLO

Roberto Bonilla Campillo started Aikido training at UPV in 2005 under the technical guidance of Joaquín Jiménez Puerto and Ezequiel Matías. Since then he has been training and attending seminars regularly.In 2011 he was awarded 1st Dan Aikikai.


He is currently teaching and training at the Nishinkan dojo.
